Our mission is to breed beautiful, well-rounded and healthy miniature dachshunds that are suitable for family life. Miniature dachshunds are intelligent and have a playful personality. They are extremely affectionate and loyal to their owners, always sticking by their side and watching out for them.

  • Dianne at Dachkin Miniature Dachshunds is a fantastic breeder - she's science based, caring, delivers the pup to you along with a box of toys, treats, food, bowls and their favourite blanket. Dashie (Dashimo) is a calm and VERY friendly little boy, has no fear, lots of curiosity and playfulness, goes to sleep in nanoseconds in the car.

From the moment I spoke to Dianne, I was impressed by her commitment to ethical practices and the well-being of her miniature dachshunds. Mila quickly became a part of our family.   • Dianne is a wonderful caring breeder. Dianne made a special trip for our kelpie to meet Daphne to see if they liked each other and then arranged to deliver Daphne later in the week. We received with Daphne comprehensive care guidelines as well as toys, food, a beautiful collar and lead and many other things. Dianne was very organised and easy to deal with. The best part is that we have a fabulous dappled long haired dachshund who loves to lie in the sun, snuggle and be carried around. She is such a beautiful loving dog, we can’t imagine life without her. Any dachshund from Dianne will be a beautiful dog who has been well cared for and ready for their forever home.

  • We are so pleased we found Dianne and her beautiful dachshunds. We adopted Benedict (Benny) in July and found the process seamless. Dianne took the time to get to know us and was helpful in answering questions and giving us advice.   • We decided to look for a little member to add to our family and when we saw Theodore our hearts melted. He was perfect in every way. Dianne was incredible from the get go providing us with everything we needed to make the magic puppy delivery happen! We were slightly unsure about the traveling situation as we live in different states but everything was seamless and smooth thanks to Dianne. Theodore is such a great little man and he fits into our family so well. He has been great to train and easy to love. We get so many compliments on his great manners and lovely appearance whenever we leave the house. We are very pleased with Dianne’s hard work with the puppies she raises and couldn’t thank her enough for the beautiful little gift that is Theo.

  • Wilson joined our family in August and like his Uncle Billy (our daughter-in-law and son's puppy) he has a gentle, loving nature and fun personality. This is such a reflection of his parentage and the love and care Dianne and family have given him for the first few months of life. He's a beautiful shade of cream and melts hearts wherever we go, so be prepared for the oohs and ahhhs, if you welcome a mini dachshund into your family.   • Working with Dianne and Dachkin has been wonderful! Dianne is open to silly questions, and really eased my anxiety for my first dog. She was so helpful and made the transition for both Gatsby and I really seamless. Gatsby (previously Ollie) is the cutest thing I've ever seen, he's such a calm dog and he's the biggest cuddler ever! All he wants is to be held. He's so sweet with people, and he's a self proclaimed "Ladies Man" as he makes everyone fall in love with him. He is really easy going and he is such a happy puppy. Just always wants to be around people!

  • I really can’t recommend Dachkin more highly. The process was extremely smooth with Dianne being so helpful and patient with my questions back and forth. I have owned dogs all my life and I have never had such a strong bond, she is just divine. I had also not previously owned a dachshund and had seen mixed reviews when I did some research, but I couldn’t be more happy. My girl is extremely affectionate and has a beautiful temperament. She has the most loving nature out of any animal I have owned. She does require lots of cuddles however, which I am more than happy to give ♥️

  • Dianne was very helpful from the first contact. She answered lots of questions, had FaceTime calls and travelled to meet us with two puppies we couldn’t decide between. It was love at first sight with our little Truffles - him not much so. He was a very reserved and shy little guy at first - the exact temperament we wanted. He took a while to settle in but now is the boss of the house. He loves our small children and never leaves my side. He is very smart and has been doing very well at dog training, where we aim to train him all the way to companion dog stage. Thanks to Dianne for helping us bring our 5th family member into our home.
